Moesha. Cinderella. "The Boy Is Mine." Any way you put it, Brandy's career is iconic. She adds to all of that in her latest role as Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. We caught up with her in our New York HQ to ask her a few questions — some important, some not so much.

The Theory Of Everything soundtrack. I love that music. It does something to me, darling.

A couple nights ago a fan didn't go to the show, she just waited outside [the theater] for me to take a picture. I'm like, "Lady, you gotta buy a ticket to Chicago. This is what it's all about!" So she didn't buy a ticket, but she wanted to take a picture, so she took a picture and then called everybody: "Girl, you wouldn't believe who I just saw. Brandy!" She went crazy...and she didn't even see the show.

Absolutely.

My hair? I don't know how tall my hair is right now.

The other night I was dreaming that I was onstage as Roxie and the monologue was just so phenomenal and fantastic. I was trying different things in the dream and I actually did try it onstage and it worked. They loved it. That was two nights ago.
37. What time do you get up?
6 a.m. is my normal time.
38. What time do you go to bed?
I normally go to bed now, darling, around 12 o'clock. I leave the theater around 10:30, and after signing after all the autographs I go back to the hotel and go to sleep around 12.

I can. She's a legend. Her name is Jenifer Lewis; she played Tina Turner's mother in What's Love Got to Do With It? I can definitely do it. "You've been in my pearls, Alline!"

It's the red heart right now.
45. Is there anything else we should know?
That I'm having the time of my life here in New York City playing Roxie Hart in Chicago the musical. It's completely changed my life. It has completely made me the best version of myself: I'm focused, I'm disciplined, and I'm very grateful for this experience. If you haven't seen it, you need to come and see it. It will change your life for the moment — I don't know what you gonna do after you leave the theater, but when you're there you're gonna have a great time. I think you should come see it. It's fantastic.

If you want to make ratings in Country radio, take females out. The reason is mainstream Country radio generates more quarter hours from female listeners at the rate of 70 to 75%, and women like male artists. I'm basing that not only on music tests from over the years, but more than 300 client radio stations. The expectation is we're principally a male format with a smaller female component. I've got about 40 music databases in front of me and the percentage of females in the one with the most is 19%. Trust me, I play great female records and we've got some right now; they're just not the lettuce in our salad. The lettuce is Luke Bryan and Blake Shelton, Keith Urban and artists like that. The tomatoes of our salad are the females.

I just went to Landmark Regent Theatre in Westwood last week to see Noah Baumbach's new film While We're Young. Love Ben Stiller and Ryan Serhant.

Million Dollar Listing New York. I am from New York and miss the city so that show gives me my NYC fill.
