Kim using GQ as a platform/paper trail was a great way to A) get her side of the story out to eyes beyond her audience and B) bait the opposition (Taylor's team) into responding. The more they were forced to say, the harder it was to backtrack. For example, now Taylor is claiming to only be upset about the "that bitch" line (it's the one part of the line that he didn't say over the phone) even though she's been quoted as being upset about the misogyny and ownership over her fame parts prior to the video's release.

We Have All The Receipts In The Feud Between Taylor Swift, Kim Kardashian, And Kanye West
Here we go again.
In case you live under a rock, you know some major drama went down between Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian last night. Oh, and Kanye West, Kim's husband, was involved as well.

Shannen Doherty Shared Pics Of Her Shaved Head On Instagram As She Fights Cancer
The Charmed and Beverly Hills, 90210 star was diagnosed with breast cancer in March 2015.
Actor Shannen Doherty is probably best known for her roles on Beverly Hills, 90210 and Charmed.

But more recently, Doherty has been fighting breast cancer. The star was diagnosed with invasive metastatic breast cancer that had spread to her lymph nodes in March 2015.
In August 2015, it was revealed that Doherty was suing her former management company, claiming that their failure to pay her health insurance in 2014 led to a lapse in coverage and a delay in her breast cancer diagnosis.
Doherty's former business manager Tanner Mainstain told TMZ "the claim that [he] caused her to be uninsured, prevented her from seeking medical care, or somehow contributed to her cancer is patently false."
